From Sunday to Thursday we offer you an extensive program of activities in Katschberg. We look forward to your participation.
3D archery - 'Taster' introduction
- Period: 01.07.2024 until 14.10.2024 (on Mondays)
- Meeting point: 14:30 p. m. at the Adventure Park Katschberg
- Registration: Until 17:30 p.m. the day before at www.katschberg.at/aktiv

Hiking on the Katschberg
Find time to experience the wonderful mountain nature. You can explore the landscape of the mountains, the forest and the clear mountain waters, by bike or on foot in a peaceful environment.
Lasörnhütte - Lasörnsee | 2,300m absl
Duration: approx. 5 hours
Equipment: sturdy shoes, drink, snack, clothing appropriate for the weather.
Go by private car to the parking lot P1 in the Pöllatal. Proceed along the Lasörnbach, with small waterfalls, you will reach the Lasörnhütte at 1,865 m absl. After a break we continue to hike to the Lasörnsee at 2,300 m absl.
Gamskogelhütte | 1,850m absl
- Duration: approx. 2 hours
- Equipment: sturdy shoes
This leisurely hike leads through the enchanting landscape of Katschberg to the Gamskogelhütte with its wonderful, mountain views.
Note: The highest registry office in Austria is located there, at an altitude of 1,850m absl.
Krametbichl - Laussnitzsee | 2,181m absl
- Duration: approx. 6 hours
- Equipment: sturdy hiking shoes, clothing appropriate for the weather, drink, small snack
Go by private car to the car park in front of the Bonnerhütte (approx. 12 km).
From there we hike to the Krametbichl (2,018m absl), where an unforgettable view awaits us. Then via the Schereck (2,181m absl) and the Laussnitzsee takes to the Laussnitzerhütte.
After a hearty snack we return to the parking lot, in front of the Bonnerhütte.
Kareck | 2,481m absl
- Duration: approx. 6 hours
- Equipment: sturdy hiking shoes, clothing appropriate to the weather, at least 1 litre to drink, small snack, rucksack
This demanding hike first takes us to the Ponyalm/Pritzhütte, then it goes over alpine meadows, wide grassy slopes and finally over a steeper ascent to the summit cross at 2,481m absl, with a magnificent view of the Hafner group and the lower Tauern.
Refreshments are only available on the way back.
Aineck - Bonnerhütte - Branntweineralm | 2,210m absl
- Duration: approx. 5 hours
- Equipment: sturdy hiking shoes, clothing appropriate for the weather, drink, small snack
The chairlift (which operates in July and August) takes you to 2,210m absl.
This is where the moderately difficult hike starts over the Teuerlnock (2,145 m absl) to the Bonnerhütte. Then via the Branntweineralm and the wonderful Panoramaweg, it returns to the Katschberghöhe.
Tschaneck - Gontalscharte - Pritzhütte | 2,024m absl
- Duration: approx. 4-5 hours
- Equipment: sturdy shoes, clothing appropriate for the weather, drink
The hike takes us via the Gamskogelhütte to the 2,024m high Tschaneck, then further over the Gontalscharte to the Pritzhütte.
You can take refreshments at the Pritzhütte with local delicacies and enjoy the beautiful untouched nature. You can return by horse-drawn carriage or on foot.

Whether canyoning or rafting - we offer you an action-packed and at the same time relaxing summer holiday on and around the Katschberg.
Canyoning

Deep gorges and thundering waterfalls await you on this adventure. You hike through the gorges and are sometimes up to your chest in water.
Some courage is required, the best protective equipment and experienced guides ensure your safety.
Rafting

The white water experience of a special kind. We ride the selective sections of the Möll river with our experienced rafting guides.
This adventure is an unforgettable family experience. Our fun program also includes a 3-meter jump into the river torrents.
