FAQ'S - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Start: Sunday 10.00 -12.00 Noon and 14.00 -16.00 

The ski courses always start on Sunday and Monday - for adult beginners it is only possible to join a course on Sunday.

Note: There are no courses on Saturdays, but private lessons are always possible on Saturdays - please reserve in advance - byE-mail or Telephone.

In the morning, if there are enough participants, the children will be picked up from the hotels in the center of Katschberg by horse-drawn carriage and taken to the meeting points in the beginners' area and Mini-Jet (button lift).

You will receive more detailed information (time) directly in the ski school offices when registering.

The use of our magic carpets (conveyor belts) is free of charge.

Children who can already brake and corner and use the button lift or chairlift need a regular lift pass.

For children up to the age of 6 there is a children's day ticket for €7.-. You can buy lift tickets for the entire Katschberg / Aineck ski area directly from us in the Ski School Office next to the tourist information office.

For group courses, we recommend at least 3 days for beginners.

• Warm clothes – better one shirt too many!
• Skis, boots, poles 
• Sunglasses and suncream
• Note: Helmets are compulsory up to the age of 15

In children's beginner groups there is at least 1 ski instructor for 5 children. In advanced children's groups there are a maximum of 12 children during the holiday periods - fewer in the off-season.

If there is no special regulations or restrictions in force, we can hold our final race on the ‘Königswiese’ every thursday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

The award ceremony will take place on Friday afternoon at 3.30 p.m. at the

Beginners' practice area. All groups meet after the ski course on the premises.

There is a certificate and a medal for each participant.

You are welcome to rent the ski-equipment directly online, or on site in one of our ski rental stations. In Landal Park Katschberg or in the Ski rental at Hotel Hinteregger

On presentation of a medical certificate from a local Doctor, you will be reimbursed for the unused days (difference).

You are welcome to change. If we have a teacher available, the course can be rebooked. You only have to pay the difference.

Our group courses are held in German. In our team we also have ski instructors who speak English, Dutch, Slovenian, Croatian, Belgian, Bulgarian, Danish and Russian.

Unfortunately, a refund is not possible if you do not like it. But you are welcome to take advantage of another offer for the difference.

Yes, the ski courses take place on December 24th. from 10.00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m. From December 25th there are the regular ski course times again.
